Protein° Feed: Norwegian neo-disco producers du jour recorded a dj set for the Japanese radio station ShibuyaFM with tracks from Justus Kohncke, Landshark, Heaven 17 and pink Floyd. The duo's tunes can be heard on the Glimmers DJ Kicks, and their latest 12" ' I Feel Space '.
Ypulse: Media for the Next Generation: Yes I just made up the word teenification. Media Life reports a jump in viewers 12-17 of 25.7 percent, to 1.71 million from 1.36 million last year. So by replacing stars more popular with the 18-34 set like "Frat Pack" (yes I'm adopting the new term coined by USA Today) members Ben Stiller and Jack Black with our favorite buxom teen beauty Lindsay Lohan, they lost 18-34 year-old viewers and gained teen viewers.

Ypulse: Media for the Next Generation: Since much of the conference was focused on narrowly defined segment tracks of kids, tweens, teens, and college, it was refreshing to see a presentation tackling a transitional period, something that is trickier to define and market to. The researchers were able to get a glimpse of the context for comments because they employed personal video (kind of like the confessional on Real World) and also had the students keep blogs of their experiences. We saw some hilarious video footage showing how the participants' brand preferences changed as soon as they got to college. One girl excitedly packed her cool, trendy Ugg boots as she departed for school.
