Even so, the LL-T1810A stacks up pretty favorably: Pros: One of the crispest, most colorful LCD monitors we've seen Quick, simple on-screen control menus USB hub and extra-long-life backlight add value Cons: No digital input for next-generation graphics adapters Typically blocky when expanding lower resolutions to full screen size; needed minor tweaking to activate 75Hz refresh rate In short, while it isn't the perfect LCD monitor, the Sharp is an impressive example of the skinny breed, offering gorgeous, big-screen office viewing at a fair price. „Suggested price is $16,995, or $18,690 with optional speakers. Sharp has also introduced some non-high-definition LCD monitors, designated the Aquos series. Available in 13, 15, and 20-inch models, the name is intended to "invokes images of the fluidity of liquid crystal and serves to emphasize the elegant design and superior performance of Sharp products," according to a new product announcement. Aquos monitors have a "Black TFT" low-reflection coating that allows a bright picture even in strong-light conditions by dramatically reducing glare, thereby fulfilling Sharp's mandate to provide television "where you want it." Colors are said to be especially vivid with Aquos technology.“
