[Krunker] Dell Inspiron 6000: Considering the spongy power and multimedia buttons, overall build quality and the fact that the Inspiron 6000 is not the most powerful multimedia machine around, we had to hover our rating at 4 stars in account of what it has to offer. If you intend to place this particular Dell machine under heavy consideration, you’ll be glad to know that price and components customization are areas where Dell has always been competitive when compared to its competitors. At S$3,453 for our specific review unit, the Inspiron 6000 is certainly worth a consideration, especially if your strict requirements include screen resolution, affordability and extensive customization.

Tech Digest: British product consultants PDD now claims to have come up with a completely new design for mobile phones. Christened the Helix, the prototype clamshell style handset features a multi-purpose screen that can revolve 180 degrees on its vertical axis. PDD claims the advantage of this features is that when the Helix is closed and is being used as a camera or an MP3 player phone, users not only have a compact phone but they can also see a large screen. If the user wants to make a call or text they open the clamshell hinge in a traditional way and then flip the screen around.

Chinese foreign minister Li Zhaoxing flew to Tehran to conclude an oil and gas deal between China's state-owned Sinopec and the Iranian oil ministry worth approximately $100 billion (US) over thirty years. Popgadget: Personal Tech for Women: ionKids has developed a child monitoring system that consists of two components, a bracelet, called the wristag, and a base unit. The cool looking wristag is worn by the child, the device is both water and tamper resistant and will need a special key to be taken off of the childs wrist. It also has sensors that can detect the childs skin and can perceive whether the gap between the skin and the device is getting larger, in which case it will set off an alarm, both on the wristag and on the base unit. The base unit, on the other hand, is kept by the parent, who can monitor up to four children simultaneously.
