POPMAN POP Video Player
[Archived in Entry]
[TeamDroid] I saw this in an issue of Nuts and Volts magazine a few days ago. Its device that will let you play JPGs and MPEG I/II videos from media cards (CF, SM, MS, MD) out to any device that takes PAL.NTSC video and audio in. Perfect if you want to make your own LCD picture frame or want to loop a video clip in a store display or art install.
Some slightly related:
[Snark Patrol] The God of Straight Lines loves me: Imagine, if you will, an electronics lab. There is a power supply for the eager students' electronics projects, and it emits a nice polyphonic hum whilst outputting volts. To myself and my buddy, also very fond of Celtic music, it sounded very much like the drones on the pipes. Naturally, we took advantage of this to sing the chanter part of favorite tunes.
[Menlovian] don't read this: my long-time readers undoubtedly remember that i've been - for quite a long time now - on a quest for the perfect bathroom at BLS. (see consume / disburthen, 9/12/04, my second menlovian entry ever!) my search for the perfect piece of porcelain has led me far and wide, from the highest floors of 250 joralemon to the lowest - ahem - bowels of the library.
[[ Sweet Dreams - Recent Entries ]] Assorted fun stuff!: /earrings set she sent. :D Leeeeeaves! These will go perfect with a short-sleeved shirt I got last summer.... ;) And then, absolutely nuts... she managed to find a set of two very pretty blue and white cups. One... the Volts are acting tough they put on the Rolling Stones or "Be True To Your School"<Mullenkamp>
[The Land Of Jeccius] First up....: Anderson, sometimes know as Doctor Who - a Physics teacher, who was as daft as two nuts and twice as stupid in an emergency. He claimed that being able to draw perfect circles was a sign of insanity, as he drew one on the blackboard. Come to think of it he reminded me hell of alot of Tom Baker.
