„Sharp LL-T1810A LCD Monitor Review Fine Tuning, Fine Viewing Eric Grevstad Speaking of multiple settings leads to LCDs' biggest disadvantage over CRTs: their fixed pixel size makes them poor choices for showing multiple resolutions or switching to lower settings (such as 800 by 600 or 1,024 by 768) instead of the screen's native resolution (in this case, 1,280 by 1,024). We've recently seen a very few LCD monitors (such as the abovementioned, expensive Eizo) that can rescale images smoothly at lower resolutions, but the LL-T1810A is not one of them -- lower settings are legible, but a bit too jagged or pixilated to be comfortable. For games and DVDs, we found ourselves using the on-screen control menu to turn off scaling in favor of letterboxed (surrounded by black) images.“http://www.hardwarecentral.com/hardwarecentral/reviews/3568/2/ - Cached
