[HD Beat] Ether Samsung knows something we don't or there's going to be cheaper LCDs this Christmas then we thought. Samsung plans to bump up production of their 40-inch LCD panels.

LCD vs CRT
[ Internet Home Business :: HomeOfficeVoice] And my personal and unscientific opinion is that flat screens rule - even with three of them on my desk I have still have room for more cups, plates, bits of paper and half-read magazines than I did when I had two CRT monitors.

[HDBlog.net] In what is almost a commercial for DLP, Displaybank has done an analysis of the technology versus its competitors for HDTV sets. They have a chart which compares DLP with other RPTV technologies, comparing CRT, LCD, DLP, and LCOS.

Panasonic starts the plasma prices falling for fall

You can now go to Best Buy or Circuit City and pick up Panasonic panels at these price points: 50-inch HDTV for $3999 42-inch HDTV for $2999 42-inch EDTV for $1999 You can expect the on-line street prices to decline as well, but not as much as the MSRPs, which went down anywhere from $500 to $1000 depending on the model.

Wider is better for first time ever
[HD Beat] Fullscreen hasn't been allowed in my house since I bought my first widescreen laserdisc - "Blade Runner" - many moons ago although I had to wait until 3 years ago to purchase a widescreen tv. The only fullscreen movies I own are those made before "The Robe".

[Krunker] While it isn’t the biggest or boldest LCD around, it produces a high quality experience for almost all possible uses, and that’s a winner all the time in our books. On top of this though, it lives up to the hype of a gaming LCD.
